Deze boerderij was de laatste plaats waar C Compagnie van de 2nd Battalion of the Royal Norfolks kon standhouden, en waar ze zich overgaven. De kogelgaten van de strijd zijn nog steeds zichtbaar. Na hun overgave op 27 mei 1940 werden ze doodgeschoten. 97 soldaten stierven.
