Dit monument herdenkt de verdwenen Joodse Gemeenschap van Sachsenhausen. Op deze plaats stond de synagoge, die in 1960 is afgebroken. De synagoge was al onteigend vóór de Reichskristallnacht en is daarom niet verwoest in november 1938.
