Festung Königsberg - Rossgärter Tor

Deze 19de eeuws fortificatie was één van de Duitse bolwerken tijdens de slag om Königsberg. Het garnizoen bleef zich verzetten na de capitulatie van Königsberg op 9 april 1945 totdat het fort uiteindelijk na zware strijd op 10 april werd ingenomen door het Rode Leger. Nog steeds is onduidelijk waarom het garnizoen door bleef vechten. [b]Het fort tegenwoordig:[/b] Er is tegenwoordig een café restaurant in gevestigd.
