De HMAS Canberra (D33) was a zware kruiser van de Royal Australian Navy. Tijdens de Slag van Savo Island werd ze tot zinken gebracht op 9 augustus 1942, waarbij 84 bemanningsleden omkwamen en er 109 gewond raakten.
