Onder andere liggen hier begraven tankcommandant [bioid]34545,Michael Wittmann[/bioid], onder andere bekend van de [towid]89468,slag bij Villers-Bocage[/towid], en [bioid]69299,Adolf Diekmann[/bioid], verantwoordelijk voor het [towid]1295,bloedbad van Oradour-sur-Glane[/towid]. Tegenover de ingang van de begraafplaats bevindt zich een interessant bezoekerscentrum van de Volksbund Deutsche Kriegsgräberfürsorge.
