Dit monument herdenkt 104 soldaten van het Gemenebest, 437 Polen en drie Arabische legionairs die tijdens de Tweede Wereldoorlog omgekomen zijn en in Khanaqin begraven zijn. Hun graven werden vanaf 1965 onmogelijk om te beheren.
