Dit monument herdenkt de deelnemers aan de aanslag op Hans Frank, de toenmalige (beruchte) Gouverneur-Generaal van het [i]'Generalgouvernement für die besetzten Polnischen Gebiete'[/i]. De mislukte aanslag vond hier plaats op 29 januari 1944 op een passerende trein waarin de gouverneur-generaal zich bevond.
