Dit monument in het National Memorial Arboretum herdenkt de Sumatra Railway, gebouwd door 5000 krijgsgevangenen en 30.000 lokale inwoners. Het is alleen gebruikt om krijgsgevangen na de oorlog uit het gebied te halen.
