Vanaf dit treinstation werden meer dan 150.000 joden uit de Lodz getto (Litzmannstadt) tussen 16 januari 1941 en 29 augustus 1944 naar de vernietigingskampen gedeporteerd. [b]Het treinstation tegenwoordig:[/b] Sinds 2005 is station Radegast een Holocaust museum -en gedenkplaats voor de Joodse slachtoffers van Lodz.
