Deze scheepsbel is afkomstig van de Hr. Ms. De Ruyter, die tijdens de slag om de Javazee in 1942 tot zinken werd gebracht. Meer dan 1000 opvarenden kwam hierbij om het leven, waaronder Schout-bij-nacht Karel Doorman. De scheepsbel en plaquette zijn in de Kloosterkerk te bezichtigen.
