Monument Colonel Eugene Mead Caffey

Dit monument staat in een Duitse bunker op Utah Beach en herdenkt de Amerikaanse Colonel Eugene Mead Caffey, commandant van de 20th Engineer Regiment. Hij was de eerste leger-colonel die het strand bereikte op 6 juni 1944. Daarna was hij voor vijf maanden commandant van de Utah District.
