Op de Rooms Katholieke Begraafplaats van Fijnaart ligt het graf van Leslie Albert George Goodspeed van het 2nd Battalion, the Essex Regiment. Hij sneuvelde op 3 november 1944 in een boomgaard waar zijn lichaam door enkele burgers werd gevonden.
