Het oorlogsmonument aan de Brink is opgericht ter nagedachtenis aan alle inwoners van de voormalige gemeente Norg die tijdens de bezettingsjaren door oorlogshandelingen zijn omgekomen en aan alle mensen die in Norg sneuvelden. De tekst op de gedenkplaat luidt: 'NOOIT HOUDT DE DWANG DE VRIJHEID BLIJVEND BUITEN. P.R. BEEN B. PLOEG O.G. DE JONG E.A. BRINTON S.G. BURNAM-RICHARDS M.G. SMALLRIDGE F. LEGGER R. PENTINGA G.
