Monument National Guard Vierville-sur-Mer

Dit monument werd opgericht ter nagedachtenis van de Amerikaanse National Guard. De 29e Amerikaanse Infanterie Divisie, die op 6 juni 1944 op Omaha Beach landden, maakte deel uit van de National Guard. Deze divisie had het zwaar te verduren tijdens D-Day. Ook de 35e Infantry Divisie maakte deel uit van de National Guard maar landde pas begin juli op Omaha Beach. Het monument werd na de oorlog gebouwd op het Duitse 'wiederstandnest 72'.
