Monumentencomplex Voormalige Executieplaats Rumbula

Dit bos werd tijdens de Tweede Wereldoorlog gebruikt als executieplaats door de Duitsers. Vooral Joden vonden in dit bos de dood. In totaal werden hier 26.000 mensen vermoord. Tegenwoordig staat er een aantal monumenten om de slachtoffers van het fascime te herdenken.
