Dit monument herdenkt de Onafhankelijke Kolomyia Grensdetachement, dat hier in 1941 voor 2 dagen lang de SS-div. Leibstandarte SS "Adolf Hitler' en de 3e SS-div. "Totenkopf" wist op te houden. Het detachement wist 17 tanks en een groot aantal vijanden uit te schakelen.
