Dit Italiaanse fort is tijdens het interbellum gebouwd als onderdeel van de oostelijke Alpenmuur (Vallo Alpino), een verdedigingslinie aangelegd door de fascistische dictactor Benito Mussolini. Het fort bevindt zich volledig onder de grond.
