Deze Sovjet kazemat maakt deel uit van het monumentale 'Borodino Veld', waar in oktober 1941 zware strijd werd geleverd tussen eenheden van de 5e Leger en Duitse troepen. Een kleine monument ter nagedachtenis aan de gevallen soldaten van het Rode Leger staat naast de kazemat.
