Deze Ilyushin Il-2 'Shturmovik' duikbommenwerper is in maart 1943, tijdens de Grote Vaderlandse Oorlog (1941-1945) in de regio Moermansk neergeschoten en in 1970 teruggevonden. Tegenwoordig is het vliegtuig een monument ter ere van alle Ilyushin Il-2 'Shturmovik' bemanningsleden die tijdens de oorlog participeerden.
