In dit huis vestigden kolonel Desobry (10th Armored Division) en Majoor La Prade (101th Airborne Division) hun hoofdkwartier tijdens de verdediging van Noville. Door een explosie raakte Desorby ernstig gewond en werd La Prade opslag gedood. Majoor Robert F. Harwick en Majoor Charles L.Hustead namen toen het bevel over.
