Dit monument herdenkt de verzetsstrijders die sabotage acties pleegden aan de zwaarwaterfabriek in Vemonk op 28 februari 1943. In de fabriek werd zwaar water gemaakt, dit water wilde de Duitsers gebruiken om een atoombom te maken.
