De Möhnebrücke was van oorsprong van gewapend beton. De brug is tijdens de Möhneramp, ten gevolge van de doorbraak van de Möhnedam door Lancasterbommenwerpers op 17 mei 1943, weggevaagd. De brug is herbouwd.
