Dit gebouw werd gebruikt door de NSDAP van eind jaren 1930 tot en met de Tweede Wereldoorlog. De partij breidde het gebouw uit in 1939. Adolf Hitler hield op 5 april 1938 een toespraak in de Festsaal.
