Deze geschutskoepel is afkomstig van een Canadese Tank Cruiser Ram Mk II (laat model) die gebruikt is bij de bevrijding van Nederland. De koepel maakt deel uit van de IJssellinie, een naoorlogs Nederlands netwerk van bunkers en statische geschutskoepels om een eventuele communistisch gevaar het hoofd te bieden.
