Dit monument bevindt zich nabij de locatie waar op 6 september 1944 de colonne van de Nederlandse Prinses Irene Brigade in een Duitse hinderlaag liep. Hierbij werden drie manschappen gedood: Anthoon Bonte, Anton Bijlsma en Henk de Groot.
