Op de St Johns Cemetery is het graf van Igor I. Sikorsky. Hij ontwikkelde trans-oceanische vliegboten en ontwikkelde in 1939-1940 de eerste succesvolle helikopter van het westelijk halfrond. Sikorsky wijzigde het ontwerp naar de Sikorsky R-4, die in 1942 de eerste in massa geproduceerde helikopter ter wereld werd. Het bedrijf van Sikorsky maakte tijdens de Eerste Wereldoorlog bommenwerpers voor de Tsaar.
