Op 1 januari 1945 crashte Fw190A-8 Gelbe 16 op ca 500 meter NW van deze locatie. Piloot Unteroffizier Karl-Heinz Riedel kwam hierbij om het leven. Het informatiebord op foto's 2 en 3 is verwijderd. Foto 1 geeft de actuele (2024) situatie weer.
