Dit gebouw was vanaf 1941 tot 1943 in gebruik als cassino voor de Wehrmacht. Vanaf 1943 tot 1945 had NSB leider Anton Mussert hier zijn kantoor. Hij is hier overigens op 7 mei 1945 gearresteerd.
