De uitgeverij Franz Eher was in dit pand gevestigd en was de centrale uitgeverij van de NSDAP. De NSDAP heeft deze, inclusief de bijbehorende boekhandel, in 1920 gekocht. Op 18 juli 1925 werd hier het boek "Mein Kampf" van Adolf Hitler gepubliceerd.
