Deze Duitse luchtdoelbatterij is tijdens de Tweede Wereldoorlog gebouwd ter bescherming van de Duitse haven van Emden tegen Geallieerde luchtaanvallen. De batterij was bewapend met het grootste kaliber (12,8cm) luchtafweergeschut op Nederlandse bodem.
