Crashlocatie Junkers Ju 87B Stuka's

Maar liefst 13 Junkers Ju 87B "Stuka" duikbommenwerpers van 1 Gruppe, 76 Sturmkampfgeschwader stortten op 15 augustus 1939 ter pletter tijdens een militaire oefening bij Truppenplatz Neuhammer (nu: Swietoszow). De verslechterde weeromstandigheden waren de oorzaken voor het incident. Alle 26 vliegeniers vonden de dood. Walter Sigel, hun commandant, overleefde het wel.
