Deze Messerschmitt Bf 109G-6 van 7./JG 1 stortte hier op 30 januari 1944 neer. Het toestel was door een Amerikaanse P-47 neergehaald. Het wrak werd op 1 november 1980 onder leiding van Museum Twente geborgen.
